The Next Gen(D)eration Leadership Collective began with a group of volunteers and a project manager. Later, through public calls for proposals, it secured funding from the International Development Research Centre (Canada) and Bloomberg Philanthropies (United States of America), as well as support from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
This financial support enabled various initiatives, such as organizing events, structuring the communications department, hiring research fellows who expanded the Collective’s efforts, and supporting partners in their collective action to achieve their mission. Our Steering Group is ad honorem.
